A case was filed against our client claiming OMR 50,000 as a compensation for arbitrary dismissal, in addition to payment of the salaries until the end of employment contract and end of services gratuity. The Primary Court obliged our client to comply with most of the Plaintiff requests, while the Appeal Court supported the said Award. Accordingly, we appealed against this award before the Supreme Court.
One of the most significant grounds in which we adhered to before the Supreme court was that the nature of the relationship between the Plaintiff and our client is partnership not employment. In accordance with the evidences we provided, the Supreme Court overruled the said award and referred it to a different jury which cancelled the Appealed Award and dismissed the Case for the benefit of our client.
